If someone told you that you could feel 20 years younger just by eating healthy would you do it? Well you might, but most folks don’t. Some don’t think it’s possible. Others aren’t even aware it’s an option. Still others may have a host of reasons and/or excuses.
I get it. I didn’t believe it. I didn’t think it was an option. I thought all those health gurus were weird. Some are. But here are the facts – eating healthy food does amazing things. But what is healthy? Healthy food is food in it’s natural state – not processed. An apple is healthy. Apple Jacks are not. While that’s an extreme example, lot’s of food that is marketed to us is, especially in comparison to real food, is just Apple Jacks in disguise.
Processed cereals, grains, nutrition bars, energy bars, energy drinks, lean meals, diet meals – all processed. Apples, avocados, kale, dates, nuts, carrots are natural, and best when grown organically. Too much of our food is manipulated, sprayed, modified and enhanced.
I went gluten-free over 2 years ago and felt 10 years younger within a few short weeks. I’ve been eating raw (about 70%) for 4 months, and very quickly felt another 10 years younger. What’s amazing is how good real food feels in my body. It doesn’t sit there like lead. Rather, it energizes me. I can feel my body flowing with good nutrition. It sounds weird, I know, but it’s the truth.
